Description
The purpose of this programme of training is to help foster carers develop their understanding of psychological issues relevant to looked after and adopted children. The training is aimed at carers who are relatively new to the role or who have not attended the training before. Training will focus initially on child development to help carers recognise young people’s strengths and needs and to help them identify areas where they can help young people with their personal development.
