HERe NI – Adoption & Fostering Virtual Event on 4 August

29th July 2021

HERe NI are hosting a virtual adoption and fostering information event on Wednesday 4 August at 7.00pm as part of their Pride Programme.

HERe NI is a community organisation based in Belfast. Their role is to support and improve the lives of lesbian and bisexual women across Northern Ireland.

One of our fostering social workers will be at the event to chat about fostering. Come along to hear more.

If you are interested in attending please get in touch with Cara McCann from HERe NI: cara.mccann@hereni.org

Foster carers are unique. Just as each child or young person in the foster care system is unique. Each application to foster will be reviewed on its merits and relate to characteristics such as dedication to children and young people, patience, communication skills, and support networks in place. They do not focus on marital status, sex or sexual orientation.

Great foster carers are individuals or couples who are devoted to children and young people who need their help.
