Could you foster Sarah (10)?

20th August 2025

Sarah* is a bright and bubbly 10-year-old. She is a cheerful, outgoing little girl with long fair hair and a sparkling personality. She is chatty, full of energy, and has a lovely sense of humour.

Sarah loves being outdoors – whether it’s feeding ducks at the park, exploring nature, or splashing about in the paddling pool. She is very active and enjoys swimming, dancing, and keeping busy with physical activities. Sarah also likes art and crafts, music, and watching music videos. Recently, she performed in her school play, showing her confidence and willingness to try new things.

Sarah attends mainstream school every day. She enjoys learning and responds well to clear routines and gentle boundaries around things like homework, screen time, and mealtimes.

Sarah really enjoys one-to-one time with adults, where she thrives with attention and care. She values her family and it’s important that she continues to have a positive relationship with her parents and siblings. After family time, she may sometimes need a little extra emotional support to help her process her feelings.

Sarah would benefit from a long-term foster family in the South Eastern area who can give her a warm, secure, and nurturing home. She would be happy with one or two carers and ideally no other children, although older children or young people in the household could also be a good fit.

Sarah’s foster carer(s) will play an important role in guiding her through the next stage of her childhood, helping her grow into her teenage years and beyond. With love, stability, and encouragement, she will flourish as part of a family and wider community.

Sarah’s foster carer(s) will receive financial support, ongoing social work support, as well as training and development opportunities.
