Paul* (5), Ryan* (4) and Stephen* (3) are a sibling group of three who require forever homes. The boys are affectionate, loving and thoughtful. They thrive on positive reinforcement and firm but warm boundaries. The boys have made great progress over the past eighteen months in terms of their development, including toilet training, feeding and emotional regulation. This is due to the consistent and responsive care giving that they have received in their current foster home.
Paul (5) has a statement of educational needs to support his emotional wellbeing and has made significant progress with the one-to-one support that he receives.
Ryan (4) attends play group and has been described as thoughtful, observant and eager to please. He often seeks one‑to‑one support or adult approval before engaging but with gentle encouragement participates well in group activities.
Stephen (3) enjoys imaginative and interactive play and engages readily with adults and peers.
The boys enjoy a multitude of activities typical to their age, including construction, art, music and outdoor play.
Given their age, stage and adverse childhood experiences, all three boys require close supervision and sensitive responses to support them to manage their emotions. They also need a structured, predictable and relationship‑led environment. Most of all they need love, care and a sense of belonging to support them to continue to thrive and grow both physically and emotionally.
Two foster families may be required to meet the children’s individual needs. This may take the form of one foster home for one of the siblings and another for two. If this is the case their sibling relationship will be nurtured and protected.
