Could you foster Frankie (11)?

21st August 2026

We are seeking a caring and nurturing long term home for Frankie*, an 11-year-old boy who has so much to offer. He is a kind, mannerly and humble young person who is a pleasure to spend time with. His warm nature and thoughtful personality make him easy to like, and he genuinely appreciates the care and support shown to him.

Frankie thrives within a family environment and responds well to clear routines, familiar surroundings and consistency. Having structure and predictability helps him feel secure, allowing his personality to shine. He enjoys being part of family life and benefits from positive relationships with the adults and children around him.

Frankie is bright, funny and engaging. He has a great sense of humour and enjoys making others smile. He is curious about the world around him and takes pleasure in the simple things in life. One of his favourite things is food, and he really enjoys mealtimes and sharing family experiences around the table.

Frankie is a whizz on his console and plays well with other children, and there are no issues in his detaching himself from screen time. Frankie has had a very transient lifestyle in the past 3 months, he gets anxious about knowing where his belongings are keeping them near him.

Perhaps one of his most endearing qualities is his gratitude. He never takes kindness for granted and is quick to show appreciation for the things people do for him, whether big or small. His respectful and thankful nature makes caring for him a rewarding experience.

Frankie would benefit from a patient, committed family who can provide him with the stability, warmth and sense of belonging that every child deserves. In return, they will welcome into their home a cheerful, caring and appreciative young boy who has the potential to flourish in the right environment.

Frankie is due to start secondary school next week, his current instability of placements is adding more stress to this transition and his is managing this admirably considering.

Frankie sees his Daddy every week and his sibling and this is positive.

Frankie has good health and is awaiting support regarding ASD assessments etc, however, a secure and stable home would enable him to manage this successfully.
