We are seeking an adoptive family for Darcy* from anywhere in Northern Ireland.
Darcy is 5 years old and she is very sociable and chatty. She likes to ride her scooter, play with her dolls and pram, jump on a trampoline, go to the park and visit the beach. Darcy also enjoys play with Play Doh, blowing bubbles and shining torches on the roof.
Darcy has an electronic tablet which she likes to spend time playing with and watching too. Darcy loves Peppa Pig! Darcy lives in a busy house and she loves to help her foster carer with jobs and tasks. Darcy has fantastic play skills and a great imagination. She loves to dress up and role play.
Darcy as had a difficult start to life and unfortunately has had to move home a lot. Darcy is a sensory seeking child and likes to chew, taste and smell things. Darcy’s new family can support Darcy with this by engaging with Occupational Therapy and offering structured sensory stimulation for Darcy. Darcy also attends Speech and Language Therapy and is reviewed by the Child Development Clinic.
Encouragingly, Darcy is making progress in all aspects of her development, but her future parents will need to continue to support her with this with patience and love.
Darcy has recently start Primary 1 in a mainstream school. She has classroom support which gives her additional help, particularly interacting with her peers.
Could you help Darcy reach her full potential and offer her a safe and secure forever home which she urgently requires? We think that Darcy would benefit from being an only child in her forever home so she can have more support from her new parents to help her thrive.
