Could you foster Annie (7)?

16th February 2026

Annie* is 7 years old; she wears glasses, is bubbly, sassy, slim build and has beautiful long brown hair, and usually wears pretty hairclips or a sparkly hairband. Annie is a typical ‘girlie girl’ who loves fashion, especially her clothes and shoes, which she proudly displays when given the chance.

Annie is a very chatty girl, who loves to ask questions which can often lead to random and humorous topics. Annie loves spending one on one time to those closest to her and she adores stories, both reading and being read to, especially at bedtime. She loves Disney princesses and any activities that include arts and crafts as she is very creative; Annie also has a love for being outside and playing with her peers, whom she shows care and compassion towards; she chats about her best friend all the time.

Annie currently attends primary school and is loved by all her classmates and teachers. During her recent Christmas play, Annie did amazingly, to the point she had learnt not only her own lines but everyone else’s and became the star of the show; Broadway most certainly awaits!

Annie would benefit and thrive being around other children her own age, as well as thriving in any social groups, where she feels included and valued. Annie is currently involved in lots of after school activities, including swimming, gymnastics and girls’ brigade. Annie enjoys spending occasional time with extended family members.

Annie can struggle with daily tasks, such as dressing independently; this is however not due to lack of physical capabilities, but merely that she enjoys support, connection and one to one attention. Annie does follow and thrive on a good daily routine and responds well to positive praise and reward charts. Annie longs to be cared for by someone who will play alongside her, enjoy belly laughs with her and more importantly provide the warmth and care that she longs for.

Ideally we would like Annie to remain in the Coleraine/north coast area.

Annie’s foster carer(s) will receive a fee in addition to regular fostering allowances along with ongoing support and training.
