Jamie* is an active and fun 9 year old boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is small for his age and slightly built. Jamie is a well-mannered and fun child who has a cheeky smile that lights up his face. He loves to be outside climbing and exploring. Equally he enjoys time on his tablet relaxing. 

Jamie has a collection of cuddly toys that he likes to sleep with. Jamie benefits from structure and routine and sleeps throughout the night. He is in P5 at school and has support from a classroom assistant. Jamie makes friends easily in school but needs some support to maintain his friendships. 

Sadly Jamie has experienced significant trauma in his young life and can become dysregulated if he doesn’t know plans or if things change without warning. That’s why it’s important that his routine remains consistent. 

Jamie needs a nurturing and active household to thrive. He could live with a single foster carer or couple and ideally with older children in the household. Jamie needs his own bedroom and space that he can feel safe in. Jamie will undoubtedly bring vibrancy and fun to family life. 

Jamie’s foster carer(s) will receive a fee in addition to regular fostering allowances, along with ongoing support and training.
